🏀 Program Overview

 

Corvallis Future Spartans Basketball offers competitive opportunities for boys and girls in 4th–8th grade who plan to attend Corvallis High School (CHS). The program focuses on developing basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive, community-based environment.

   

📅 Season Details

 

Season: Early Nov 2025 – late Feb or early Mar 2026
     Grades: 4th–8th (boys & girls)
     Practices: 2–3 times per week (schedule determined by coaches)
     Games: Local and regional tournaments throughout the season

   

💵 Player Fees

 

4th–5th grade: $250 (includes 3 tournaments)
     6th–8th grade: $350 (includes 5 tournaments)

 

Fees cover uniforms, equipment, insurance, and admin costs. Payment is due after teams are formed. Scholarships available – contact Cory Badger.

   

🕒 Tryouts

 

Registration is required for tryouts (no payment until teams assigned).

 

Boys Tryouts
     Nov 3 – 6:30–8:00 pm
     Nov 4 – 6:30–8:00 pm

 

Girls Tryouts
     Nov 5 – 6:30–8:00 pm
     Nov 6 – 6:30–8:00 pm

 

Location: Corvallis High School Main/Upper Gym

   

👥 Team Formation

 

The program aims to offer up to two teams per grade and skill level, depending on turnout and available coaches. Placement is based on tryout evaluations and coach input. While cuts may occur if numbers are high, our goal is to create the best experience for all players.

   

🏀 Coaches

 

Future Spartans Basketball is looking for volunteer coaches at all levels. Teams cannot form without coaches – if interested, please email Cory Badger. The coach application is available here.

   

🙌 Volunteers

 

The program is run entirely by volunteers. We always need parents to help with team logistics, scorekeeping, or tournament coordination. Volunteering a little time helps the program thrive — thank you for supporting our athletes!
