MEET THE BOARD
The Future Spartans board is comprised of volunteers that handle the day-to-day operations of the program and ensure competitive basketball is available for children in Corvallis.

Oversees boys team rosters, coach placement, and tryouts across grades 4–8.

Coordinates coach recruiting and training, and keeps the board's records and minutes.

Runs social media and sponsor outreach to keep the community connected.

Books practice and game gym time across Corvallis schools every week of the season.

Oversees all elements of the Future Spartans basketball program, advises the board.
What the Board Does
Keeps fees low and no family turned away
The board raises sponsorships and manages scholarships so cost never keeps a kid off the court.
Organizes the formation of every team
Rosters, coaches, gym time, and Mid-Valley tournament schedules, all organized by volunteers.
Builds the pipeline to Corvallis High School
We develop players in grades 4–8 so they arrive at CHS ready to compete as Spartans.
Ensure the Future Spartans experience is enjoyable for players and families
All efforts are to ensure children in Corvallis have the opportunity to play competitive basketball and represent their city.
